Jedwabny sznur (Silk cord).

Fot. Brykiet Noga.

Kara Mustafa Pasza, wódz turecki i wielki wezyr Mehmeda IV. Został skazany i uduszony zielonym jedwabnym sznurem, metodą, która była zarezerwowana dla przedstawicieli najwyższych kręgów w Imperium Osmańskim, z rozkazu Mehmeda IV, za porażkę po Wiedniem.

Kara Mustafa Pasha, Ottoman military leader and grand vizier Mehmed's IV, was executed by strangulation with a green silk cord, which was the method of capital punishment inflicted on high-ranking persons in the Ottoman Empire, at the order of Mehmed IV for the military loss at Vienna.

The strangulation of  Kara Mustafa in Belgrade on December 25, 1683.
Engraving by A. Thelott (aeiou.at).

Jego ostatnie słowa brzmiały: "Upewnij się, że nie zaciskasz za słabo tego sznura".

His last words sounded: "Make sure you tie the knot right."

Troll Hunter.

Great Norwegian Mountain Troll (?), 1942.

Description: Subject appears to be a humanoid standing at an estimated 105 meters tall. Subject appears to be covered in a thick but patchy hide with a gray/blue coloring of the skin. Originally believed to be folk legend until an RAF reconnaissance/bomber flight (Lockheed Hudson) photographed the creature while on patrol 480 kilometers north of Bergen, Norway, December 1942. All other attempts at capture or photography have resulted in failure. Sightings of the creature have persisted throughout the mid to late 1900s however none of these sightings have been officially confirmed by foundation staff.

Hypnosis.

How to Hypnotize by Virgil Finlay.

- Did you see that hypnosis?
- All lies.
- It's not. It's the same with him.
- Who?
- The husband...The great lord and master (hypnotist). He says, "One, two, three..." and they all go into a trance. I saw it. That's how we live too. We believe everything. He says to shut up, and right away you shut up. And there you are. The man's got the power. You shut up and do everythings he tells you. That's hypnosis. You look, but you've get no eyes. You go where his thoughts order you.

Krawiec z Coventry albo Podglądacz (Tailor of Coventry either Peeping Tom).

Fot. Brykiet Noga.

Dawno, dawno temu...Był sobie Lord.
Twardy pan, wysokie podatki, naga lejdi na koniu, miękki pan, niskie podatki, oślepiony krawiec...
Bo podglądał.
Czyli legenda o Lady Godivie.

Once upon a time...There was a Lord.
Severe Lord, high taxes, naked Lady on horseback, kind Lord, low taxes, blinded tailor ...
Because peeped.
Id est The Legend of Lady Godiva.
